Can’t leave out those tom cats!
I adapted the cat hat into a cat cap for the rugged, sporty type!
Princess Puffyhead is NOT happy about having to model a boy’s hat.

Later.
My cat in the hat
The other day on WikiHow, there was an article about creating “a charming hat for your cat.” (I’ve now seen it linked to from all over the place.) I thought, “I crochet AND I have a cat. This hat was surely meant for me!”
So I made one for Shacky (aka Horshack), and made her wear it. The results were less than awesome, but still pretty darn cute. Steakman says she looks like the old timey Flash Gordon. Agreed.
So, after Teena brought in some pink yarn (thanks Teena!), I decided that I had to make a better hat, suitable for a princess such as Shack. As you can see, she is MUCH happier.

Seriously — look at her! OMG!
Here are the 2 hats side-by-side:

It’s HUGE!
What? Sunday already?
Why is it that the weekends fly by, but the weeks take sooooo long? Other than the fact that one is 2 days long while the other is 5, obviously.
There were a million and one things I wanted to do this weekend, only 3 of which I actually got around to. Stupid allergies.
I did, however, learn that there was a movie that sounded like a good idea, but wasn’t. eXistenZ — or some similar weirdo spelling. It’s a David Cronenberg movie with Jude Law and Jennifer Jason Leigh. Sounds like it has tons of potential, right? it doesn’t. We didn’t even finish watching it and I doubt I ever will. So, that’s a few hours of my life I’ll never get back.
Luv ya babe.
No, I will NOT say “waddup?!”
I feel a lot of pressure to come up with some pithy or profound entries in this new blog o’mine (DIBBS ON “Blog O’Mine” AS A BLOG NAME if I have to start over and if it isn’t already being used by someone else but I’m betting it is). I can’t figure out what I really want to write about. (Steakman says “Write waddup!” — hence the name of this pos… d’oh! I DID write waddup! Like 3 times now! Crud.)
I feel like things are so different than they were even 6 months ago that I’m kind of out of touch with everything, and I finally have the energy and desire to get back in touch. Somehow, moving into a permanent residence has helped me get into a more “now I’m ready to fill-in-the-blank” frame of mind.
All you people who I haven’t talked to in forever, I’m anxious to say howdy! So HOWDY! I’ve missed you all, but I was just too self-absorbed to communicate normally. (Self-absorbed in an unintentional, cornfuzzled way — not in a snotty I-don’t-care-about-anyone way.)
By the way, I’m thinking of trying to end all my posts with a phrase I hate — a different one each time.
Cool beans.
New house = new blog
I’m starting over with a new blog, new domain, new house, and so on. Hooray!
So far, it’s all working pretty well.
Yep.
